Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Service is pleased to announce that the e-VA/VBMS Package Manager integration has been completed. On Monday, May 5, 2024, the new functionality rolled into Production. This integration provides VR&E staff with the ability to send decision letters to the Package Manager, as these letters are still required to be sent via U.S. Mail.

All VR&E staff should carefully prepare these decision letters by ensuring that the Veteran’s mailing address and other information are listed on the letter before final submission to the Package Manager.

The best practice is to prepare the letter, include all the required and applicable information and then review before saving and sending.
